It has a three-position recline, however it doesn't completely flat (use beginning at 6 months and up). The brakes are a bit more robust than the competition and require both sides to be pressed for full engagement of the brakes. Overall, the quality of the 3D Lite is decent for its price. It's better than the budget-friendly Kolcraft cloud plus however, it's not as great at some of the more expensive rivals.
